Psychological Testing and Assessment

When a more specific understanding of a person's difficulties or current mental health is required, psychological testing can help. The most common assessments are for children having difficulties in school. An assessment can help clarify if the cause is from a learning disability, attention deficit disorder, or some other social or emotional challenge. Having a clear understanding of the problem can help direct support in and out of the school system including specialized strategies and/or accommodations. While an assessment usually takes place in childhood, some undiagnosed adults may also be assisted with assessment. Psychological testing can also be utilized to support a clinician in understanding their client's mental health and improving the quality of treatment. If you would like to find out more.
