Why is this little man all over the  web sites and business cards?  This image was an attempt by Leonardo DaVinci to derive what he considered the best proportions of the human form (arm length, leg length, torso length, and head size) by placing them in two perfect geometric shapes.  In a way....a life in a balance.  Sometimes, it is nice to know that to reach a better balance...we have to step outside of ourselves like Leonardo did by looking to mathematics.  I find this to be one of the most helpful principles in therapy.
